Tongan Language Week

 Last week was Tongan language week. On Friday a few of the Tongan kids did a small performance and it was amazing. Our Tongan teacher in room 7 also did a performance. She danced in front of the kids. Everyone participated by clapping along. In my opinion the best performance was Mrs Tuakoi. I loved the way she danced and kept a smile on face to show how proud she is to be a Tongan.

Tongan language week

This week is the Tongan language week. Tongan language week is celebrated through out New Zealand because New Zealand is a multicultural society. Our class are reading tongan stories. We have a few things that we have displayed in the foyer.
