WALT:Write a poem using metaphors

Room 8 would be a angry and annoying cicater always screaming.

Room 8 would be a bridge helping others get across to the other side.

Room 8 would be a flexible ruler because we have short and tall people in our class.

WALT: Match metaphors with their meaning in sports and non sports.

On Thursday afternoon we got into groups and our teacher gave us metaphors to work out. The target group did this activity previously so we had to only watch the others do it. My group had difficulties trying to figure it out. The metaphor I used was on your marks get set go. Next time I will try and use all of the metaphors.I found this activity fun and interesting.
