WALT: Write a summary

Dad, Te paea and Tiki went out fishing on there secret fishing spot. Dad and the two kids saw dolphins swimming in the sea but dad decided to called the department of conservation because the dolphins are endangered. After dad called the department of conservation they were eating egg sandwiches then they started getting sad that there mum was not there with them and then they started talking about how much they miss their mum. After talking about mum they were trying to find out why did they name the dolphin Maui and they were telling different stories but they started being happy. Then they went home safely.

Jump Rope for heart

On Friday all the children in our school walked all the way to the G.I center to perform our routine we were also fundraising for Jump Rope for heart. Our class was the last class to perform our routine and we were glad that Dion was there with his mum.

E-asttle test

Today I have just finished writing my e asttle test on strands. I am disappointed with my score but by the end of this year I will try and get a 4P. I will try my hardest to get a 4P.

Basic facts

For this week's test we used prototec for our basic facts. I am disappointed with my score but I believe that I can do better. While I was doing my basic facts I had to put it on timed and it was very hard. My goal is to learn all my basic facts so that I can get a better score and answer them faster.

People have allergies and it can get worse

It’s like stealing a sick ladies purse.

If you're allergic to peanuts

Then never eat them then your be a genius.

Make sure you wash your hands before baking

Because your sickness is very contanges.

Being allergic to stuff can be contagious

make sure others don’t get it so go to the doctors don’t be scared be brave and coranges.

Scatter graph

WALT: Write a blog post about the scatter graph.

We first made three different sized paper planes and drew a table in our books and labelled them big, small and medium. Next we got into groups of three. Then that we were ready to throw our paper planes. While we were throwing our paper planes we had to record the measurements of distance in cm in our maths book. After measuring the distance our teacher Mrs Ramkolowan gave us a sheet and then we had to plot the distance we measured on to the sheet and draw a straight line. It was fun and I hope we do this again.

Hello Camille

For the past few weeks room 8 and I have been constructing a human model but we were in four groups and we were also given a system from the human body . My group got the digestive system.

We had to figure out on how we were going to construct the model and who was going to bring the things we needed so I came up with the idea to use play dough but we had to make it in school. The things we used were:

• Flour
• vegetable oil
• salt
• food colouring
• warm water

When we made the play dough we had to finally shape the playdough into the shape of big and small intestine. After assembling the play dough my companion and I had to write two facts about the digestive system while Lakai and Natalia had two write another two facts about the digestive system.

It took us three days to make this project but we did it and we enjoyed building it.
