Sponge Roll
For today's cooking lesson we made a sponge roll. It had a basic method to it and it didn't have that much ingredients to it. The ingredients needed are:
1. 4 eggs
2. 1 cup of sugar
3. 1 cup of flour
My partner (Whitney) and I found this easy to do and we followed the rules. Our sponge roll turned out to be great and tasted delicious. This was a fun lesson to do and I hope to do it again.

Where did the Polynesians come from?
Some people have there own theories on where us polynesians are from and some people think that they polynesians came from somewhere else. These are my two theories that I am comparing and the first is Hawaikii. The evidence shown that us polynesians originally came from Hawaikii was found by Oriwa Haddon. Oriwa Haddon found evidence that proved we were originally from Hawaikii. He found that the names of places were similar, that there traditions were similar, the boats were similar and the stories were the same. The second theory is South America Thor Heyerdahl also found evidence from where us polynesians were originally from, but he believes that we were from South America. Him and a couple of guys went on a boat called the Kon Tiki on a journey to prove that us polynesians were originally from South America. Thor Heyerdahl had a lot of evidence but the main evidence that stood out to me were that the wind and ocean currents from the east may have pushed travellers to the pacific and they proved this by constructing a boat called the Kon tiki and went on that boat to Raroia to an island in Eastern Polynesia. They arrived there in April 28 1947. I think that us Polynesian came from South America because he had more evidence and I found his evidence powerful.
